*1 hour of PD/EILA credit TThrough this module, participants will define trauma and identify the types of trauma, identify the potential impact that trauma can have on an individual, and reflect on next steps to support students who have been exposed to trauma.

In this training, we'll apply what we learned in the Overview and Strategies training to some real-life situations. This PD allows you to dive more deeply into the day-to-day ways we can support students

*5 hours of PD/EILA credit This training is for educational staff who have already been trained in the basic modules of Trauma-Informed Care for Educators. This training is designed as a supplement to the TICE basic modules and provides only a review of the following Trauma Informed Care concepts along with considerations for adapting these concepts to virtual learning situation

*2 hours of PD/EILA Learn about the Adverse Childhood Experiences survey (ACEs) research and the foundations of trauma informed care in school settings

*2 hours of PD/EILA credit Dive into evidence-based practices to support students who have a background in trauma.

*1 hour of PD/EILA credit This module gives participants classroom strategies to better meet the needs of students who have experienced trauma.
