The Kentucky Student Information System (KSIS) is the data system used in Kentucky Schools. Infinite Campus, Inc. provides and manages the system.
The Special Education Advisory Group for Infinite Campus (SEAGIC) is charged with the responsibility of making sure that Kentucky’s student information system addresses the special education needs of both local school districts and the Office of Special Education and Early Learning at the Kentucky Department of Education. The SEAGIC is comprised of state and local personnel with both programmatic and technical knowledge of special education laws, regulations and program requirements. The group works with the vendor to design forms, reports, and navigation enhancements within IC.This group meets several times throughout the year with representatives of the student information system vendor to provide direction, input, and design forms and reports included in the program.
If you have questions or suggestions regarding changes with the system, contact your SEAGIC representative listed below.
Some members of the SEAGIC group have presented within their cooperative region or created videos to assist with understanding data elements related to special education within KSIS. NKCES has also developed a self paced training module for getting started with Infinite Campus. The presentations or videos may be accessed below.
